Somatological alignment.
Co-Taught by Francesca Pedullà and Frey Faust
Somatological alignment implies respect for the inherent design of the body in the practice of postural Neutrality. Practically speaking, postural neutrality is evident in the disciplined habit of joint contiguity or articular congruity while moving or when still. In this class, Frey and Francesca will look intently at the body reoccurring fractal paradigms, and consider how we enter into relationship with our body, with the environment, and with others as we dance.

L’allineamento somatico implica il rispetto per l’inerente architettura del corpo e di ciò che si definisce “Neutralità posturale” che si manifesta nella ricerca della contiguità articolare sia in movimento che nella stasi. Durante la lezione prenderemo come spunto la ripetizione e la variazione dei frattali che costituiscono
l’unità paradigmatica delle strutture del corpo umano, per osservare come, mentre danziamo, possiamo creare relazioni e dialoghi fra il nostro corpo, l’ambiente che ci circonda, gli altri.
